What Happens After You Report

When you submit an abuse report, we follow a strict process:

  1. Immediate Review: Your report is reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours of submission.
  2. Investigation: We investigate the reported incident thoroughly, which may include reviewing messages, profile information, and any evidence provided.
  3. Action Taken: If the report is verified, we take appropriate action, which may include warning the user, suspending their account, or permanently banning them from the platform.
  4. Legal Compliance: In cases involving illegal activities (such as CSAM, fraud, or threats), we cooperate with law enforcement agencies and may report the incident to relevant authorities.
  5. Follow-up: We may contact you for additional information if needed during the investigation process.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your report is handled with strict confidentiality. We do not disclose your identity to the reported user unless required by law. All information you provide is used solely for the purpose of investigating and addressing the reported abuse. We comply with all applicable privacy laws and regulations, including the IT Act 2000 and POCSO Act 2012.
